I’ve added ReCAPTCHA to the site to help with spam issues. So, I’ve opened back up registrations for now.

Registered non-spam users should have open access to post comments with no CAPTCHA box, but newbs should have to use it, and then get approved to comment.

And, the biggest problem I was having was the new user registrations by spammers. That is also protected by ReCAPTCHA too.

FWIW, ReCAPTCHA was just purchased by Google, a cool thing in my koolaid drinking book.

Tulsa Scooters is at it again with their scooter rally, now called Dust Bowl Weekend. The same fun, friends and food, oh and yeah, scooters… will abound at this years event.

Dead Bunny SC is proud to also be part of the rally this year. We are contributing our graphical skillz to help make the rally kick butt in 2009!

Like the title says, Kalvin and I along with Tim and Q represented at the rally in OKC this past weekend. I had a blast, even though I was sans-scoot. I met lots of great peeps and had a great time. The guys in OKC know how to put on a great freaking rally!!!

Tim and Q picked us up on Friday and away we went. We got there after 4, unloaded the scoots and then were off to the Meet & Greet. We had pizza, drank beers, froze our arms off, and smashed up a scooter.

Saturday was the main event with breakfast followed by a scavenger hunt and then a long-ride broken in half by lunch. We went back to the hotel, had a break, and then went to the carnival, gymkana, and partied well into the night. I think we got back to the hotel after 1am.

Sunday was the cookout and raffle and just kind of the last farewells. I did not win the Stella, but I did have a blast. So it was all good.

Thank you Tim for picking us up and 2upping me around town, Kal for the 2up ride home on Saturday night, and the guy from DFW who’s name I forgot (I suck) for the bitch ride during the long ride.
